THE BACKGROUND:
Are you a Mental Health Practitioner looking for a new role? Quality Locum Solutions have a new and exciting position available where we currently recruiting for a Senior Community Mental Health Practitioner to cover a Mental Health role based within the RAF Barracks in Ashby De La Launde, Lincolnshire.  This role will involve utilizing your knowledge and expertise to support veteran service men and women who have served in the military, providing support to those with psychological trauma and or therapeutic treatment to those who may be experiencing more advanced mental health conditions. This position will involve care and support to those that are transitioning from military to civilian life, promoting awareness of medical support available and working alongside outside agencies. This position is to cover a full-time contract of days, 37.5 hours a week. Post is ongoing and is available for an immediate start. THE REQUIREMENTS:
·Registered Mental Health Nurse - Band 6 RMN
·Provide assessments of mental health and practical needs.
·Offer a range of support to veterans in line with assessed need and outcomes of regular reviews.
·Experience in providing effective short-term and long-term support to those under stress/have mental health difficulties.
·Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Mental Health Role.
·Provide structured therapeutic interventions with potentially complex clients.
·An ability to use effective judgement and interventions in emergency clinical situations.
·Ability to build relationships reassure patients.
·Compile written reports as required and to generate and maintain accurate treatment records in each patient's file.
·Actively participate in team/professional meetings.
·Agreeing and reviewing care plans and monitoring progress
·Liaising with doctors, social workers, and other professionals
 
EDUCATION:
·Nursing certificate and registration with the NMC as RMN
 
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
·Registered with the NMC
·Online DBS
·Ability to drive
